Shrimp Haus Restaurant
Long an Island favorite with park goers, Winter Texans, tourists and locals (who KNOW the best places), the Shrimp Haus has not only dozens of shrimp dishes such as a new Texas staple, Chicken Fried Shrimp, but also brick oven pizzas, steaks, burgers, pastas and one of the best salad bars around. Daily specials and happy hour, plus plenty of areas to watch the games.

The Shrimp Haus also is a preferred caterer of the South Padre Island Convention Centre and is capable of serving 15 – 1,000 or more Guests on or off Beach Park property.

Located near the Main Palapa, and directly under the Shrimp Haus, Henrique’s is a great place to grab a burger, pizza, hot dog, chicken tenders or some nachos, with ample seating both in and out of the sun!
More than just a swim-up bar to kick back and chill in while enjoying your favorite beverage (though you can do that too!), Bob’s has multiple specialty drinks (keep the glass!), plus Island fare such as Calamari, Ceviche, Peel-n-Eat Shrimp, Mini Chimichangas, Quesadillas and Shrimp Cocktails.

Almost an outdoor “mini-Shrimp Haus”, the Main Palapa has a full bar and table service featuring a diverse menu of nearly two dozen items. Centrally located, the Main Palapa is a great place to meet up for lunch or dinner if the day’s adventures took your group into different areas of the park during your visit.
Across from the Main Palapa and near the Main Entrance, the BBQ Haus specializes in a true Texas staple, Barbecue! Whether you want a big ‘ol Turkey Leg, BBQ Sandwich, Fajita Taco, we got you covered. Plus, regional favorites such as Hot Cheetos with Cheese and Loaded Baked Potatoes are here. Since it is near the Main Entrance, locals sometimes show up just to grab the food from here, even if they aren’t visiting the park!
The name says it all! The Rio Grande Valley is home to some of the best tacos and rotisserie chicken in the world and we won’t disappoint. Your choice of fajita tacos or “street” tacos.
Elotes, as served by street vendors in Mexico - Roasted ears of fresh corn spread with mayonnaise, sprinkled with Queso Fresco and chile for a treat you already love or will after trying!
Just follow your nose past the Main Entrance towards the waterpark’s main entrance to discover this local fare.
On the way in or on the way out of Beach Park, Café Fortaleza is a convenient, quick stop to grab a bite – located near the ticketing area, Café Fortaleza is your stop for chili cheese hot dogs (regular or foot long), corn dogs, nachos, hand-dipped waffle cones, the perennial favorite, Dippin’ Dots, and everyone’s go to waterpark craving - funnel cakes (plain or topped in a variety of ways).

Centrally located in the middle of the park, Beachcomber’s is a great place to grab some lunch or a drink! Serving burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, funnel cakes and more, the adjacent deck is the perfect area to be in the middle of the action, while keeping fed and hydrated.
Don’t forget the hand dipped ice cream cone.
Beachcomber’s also has bar services available.
North Beach Grill
If you are near the north end of the park around the Lily Pad children’s area or the Tempest, the North Beach Grill is ready to fill you up with burgers, pizza, hot dogs, corn dogs, Dippin’ Dots, Ice Cream, ICEE’s or Funnel Cakes.
If you just want to settle in for your favorite adult beverage, the neighboring North Beach Bar provides shaded comfort so you can catch that day’s game or just people watch.
